Our History
Express Fuel Distributors (EFD) was founded by Mr Gurvinder (Garry) Kandola & Mrs. Simrat Kandola in May of 1999. It all started with one fuel truck, a small location in Phillipsburg and a big idea. The idea was to deliver smaller than usual quantities of fuel to customer locations while providing unparalleled customer service. Garry took this idea, applied a little luck and a lot of work to create a winning formula for EFD customers. Part of that formula was to create meaningful customer service by giving a voice to our team members, because we believe that nothing resonates better than a team member who is invested in the process. This helps to provide for a positive customer experience where local, dedicated and highly responsive solutions are only a call away.
Small petroleum companies cannot match our capabilities and resources, and large petroleum companies cannot match our response times and focused approach.
EFD continues to expand its coverage area and product line, and in the process has grown to cover all of NJ & PA and an ever-expanding fleet (over 75 trucks) to meet the unique needs of our customers.
